Botox®

Botox® is a purified protein, that temporarily relax wrinkles to provide a smoother look. FDA approved to be used for the area of forehead, glabella and at the corner of the eyes. There are other areas that can be injected, such as in the chin (to prevent an “orange peel” look), the nose (for bunny lines) or lower lip corner (marionette line). Depending on the amount placed in the proper muscles, you will still have natural movement while maintaining a youthful look. The effect can be lost up to 4 months. No down-time after the procedure but you need to stay in an upright position for 4 hours, should avoid of heavy lifting, or wearing head-bands to avoid of displacement of the injections.

Women who are pregnant or nursing should not be treated.

Dermal Fillers:

(Juvederm Ultra™,VOLBELLA®, Voluma ®)

Hyaluronic acid (HA) based injectable solutions were FDA proved to decrease the appearance of deep facial wrinkles, restore facial volume as well enhance lip contour. We mainly use Juvéderm® products to replace the collagen in your skin by adding volume to smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, lift and create lip. Juvéderm® approved to last up to 6-12 months. Juvéderm® is formulated with lidocaine, a common anesthetic, to provide a more comfortable experience during and after treatment.

There is a minimal down-time due to swelling, bruising after application. Juvéderm® injections can be performed safely and your provider will review the pro and contra of the injections so you can make an informed consent.

Women who are pregnant or nursing should not be treated.

Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP)

Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP) infusion has been used to promote nerve regeneration as well collagen growth. PRP injection also can improve the sign of facial aging such as wrinkles, decreased tone and volume as well loss of feminine contour as well to promote hair regrowth. PRP is being used as a non-surgical “face-lift” with the benefit of long term collagen production and restoration of skin health. PRP is your natural way to renew your skin and hair without needing to install foreign body, chemicals or toxins. While initially, it needs to be performed more often (every 4-6 weeks) compared to hyaluronic acid based fillers, the effect is long lasting. There is no risk of allergic reaction, risk of vascular complications or nodule formation. Our SELPHYL system provides an effective and painless production of PRP.

The procedure takes about 30 and 60 minutes

If you have these conditions, PRP facelift might not be for you:

Abnormal platelet function (blood disorder)

Cancer and/or chemotherapy

Chronic or acute infections

Fever

Skin disease

Anti-coagulation therapies

Chronic liver problems

Recent use of corticosteroids

Medical Chemical Peel

In our physician owned practice we are able to use medically graded peels to treat acne as well hyperpigmentation. Chemical Peels can stimulate cell turn-over and promote cell growth.

Chemical Peels cannot be performed on any skin that is tan or burned from sun exposure. Self-tanner should not be used for at least 2 weeks prior to your peel.

You may not be a candidate if you are taking certain oral medications like steroids. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not be treated.
